Holds in booking an import reefer container in TABS
After booking a container in TABS, the HOLDS status will indicate the timeslot in which you can book your truck appointment.
If the container DOES NOT have a DEA REEFER impediment and shows a GREEN or ORANGE tag in TABS before booking, it can be booked in any available zone or slot, without time restrictions.
If the holds indicator is RED, however, the import container/s can only be booked from 0400H to 1900H and will require BOC examination.
NOTES:
· If an import container with a red hold indicator is booked outside 0400H–1900H, the status will be displayed as "CONFIRMED FACILITY ERROR” and considered as not a valid booking.
· If a container has an active DEA REEFER impediment, it can only be booked during zones 4 to 19, following the DEA Operational hours.
· If the DEA REEFER impediment has been lifted but the container still shows a RED tag in TABS, the same time restriction (zones 4 to 19) will still apply. Please coordinate with BOC for the lifting confirmation.
